A lot has been said about SEO, copywriting and how important is quality content in our web sites to achieve high relevancy into the Search Engines.
The truth is that sometimes the original SEO concept is slightly misunderstood:
Do we need to write pertinent information to better describe the products and services we offer, and afterwards optimize that content to be SEO-friendly and bring search engine spiders appropriate material?
Or is it that many so called SEO experts (exponentially increasing every day) use their knowledge to include strategic keywords into a sea of not so rich text, and then try to give it some human-oriented sence to catch the search engines attention?
From my experience and long hours of research, I have examined numerous web sites where you can read large amount of reviews, articles, explanations and different kinds of content, and the only thing you see is a clear tendency to write pure SEO oriented content (robots' candy), however –bottom line- you don’t get anything from them, more than smart wording, which finally is negative from the user point of view as he won't get accurate answers to his necessities.
It is truly amazing how search engines become more sensitive day by day, nevertheless they are just conditioned algorithms and we are the ones who create them… so far.
It's also true that when non-serious web sites are found, search engines can penalize them, so is not preciselly recommended to try cheating search engines.
That's why is so important that when choosing an SEO firm, be sure to choose one that uses White Hat Techniques, and work under the SEO Code of Ethics when optimizing your web site, bringing added value to your business as well as enhanced results.
